Review (Spoiler Free)

Silhouette can be categorized as horror drama.  But I think the movie is more drama then anything else.  It does have few creepy scenes, jump scares, and blood, but mostly, the movie is about marriage struggle between the husband and the wife.  So if you are looking for scary horror movie, you will be disappointed.

But it doesn’t mean the movie is not worth watching.  The movie is still deals with dark subject matters and it has interesting story to keep you entertained.  The story has few big surprises throughout the movie, and the last 30 minuets of movie has the biggest surprise that will give you the chill.

Silhouette is a slow burner.  Initially, We don’t know too much about the couple.  But slowly the movie reveals their back stories and slowly reveals their dark sin of their past.  This slow build up comes with a reward towards the end of the movie.  Even with the slow pace of the movie, it does have that eerie, often overbearingly unnerving vibe throughout the movie which will keep you really engrossed.

Acting from all the actors are pretty decent.  They did their job and didn’t distract from the story.  The Executive Producer of the movie is Timothy Talbott who was also involved in the horror film called Demon Inside released on 2017.  You can check out the our review here.

At the time of writing, Silhouette is currently unavailable to the public, but they are anticipating a release toward the end of the year 2019.  So check the Facebook page for more information – facebook.com/absentiapictures.
