Unfriended Review (2015)

The Story

This is pretty much social media bullying story.  We started to see in the news in real life about how people bullying other through social media.  Unfriended is just that.

Group of friends bullied a classmate by posting very embarrassing video of her in the social media.  She then committed a suicide.  One year later, she come back to terrorize those who are responsible.

Unfriended Review (Spoiler Free)

The entire movie is inside the main character’s computer screen. You have to get used to this style of film making because it does get annoying pretty quickly.  But the story moves very fast and movie is very short, to the point. The movie run time is bout 82 minuets. So it isn’t too bad. In fact, it is pretty entertaining.

This is definitely movie for young folks who are always on internet and social media. I could see if you are a old folks who don’t use computer and social media, you probably will get lost and get bored very quickly. Because the movie pretty much deals with Youtube, Facebook, Skype, and Instant Messaging.

The movie has bit of supernatural element to it, and that is all I am going to say about it.  I did enjoy the movie. So let me know what you think about it.

Acting and Directing

Acting is pretty descent. The casts include  Heather Sossaman, Matthew Bohrer,  Courtney Halverson, Shelley Hennig, Moses Storm, Will Peltz,  Renee Olstead, Jacob Wysocki, and Mickey River.

The movie is directed by pretty new director Levan Gabriadze.

In the Nutshell

The movie is not perfect but good enough to enjoy.  If you are fluent in social medias, it makes it even more enjoyable. I give 4 out of 5 stars.
