We Go On Review (2016)

We Go On is low budget horror drama with interesting story.

The Story

Paralyzed by his fear of dying, Miles Grissom takes out an advert offering $30k dollars in reward money to the first person who can show him evidence of an angel, a demon, or ghosts exist, anything to prove to him that there is life after death. Along with his protective mother, he embarks on an adventure through Los Angeles that will spiral into an unthinkable nightmare.

The Review (Spoiler Free)

We Go On is horror drama.  The movie has some scares and creepy scenes but it is more focused on lead character’s search for truth.  But with strong acting and very creative twists-and-turns in the story-line, it is worth the watch.

The movie is low budget movie and has made-for-TV look to it, but don’t let that discourage you.  It is not a bad movie.  There is no special effects.  There is no CG or any type of gore. The movie is driven by the story telling.  The movie keeps you intrigued to the very end. You’re never quite sure where it’s going. The movie has few surprise twists in the story that take you by surprise. I also like how the movie ends.  It is very satisfying.

The movie is divided into two parts.  The movie starts out with the lead character, Miles, searching for evidence of after life and spiritual world.  But in second half of the movie, it quickly turns little bit like “Sixth Sense”.

It’s fun movie. It’s not going to scare you at all, but it will make you think for little while after the movie is over.

In the Nutshell

We Go On is low budget horror drama that driven by good story telling. The movie keeps you intrigued to the very end, you’re never quite sure where it’s going. [4 out of 5 stars]
