Timecrimes is well made time travel thriller that most people missed.

The Story

The story is very simple.  The main character, Hector is ordinary man who accidentally stumbled into experimental time machine and went back to few hour to the past.  Now he is face fix all the mess he made but things doesn’t seems to turn out right.

The Review (Spoiler Free)

Timecrime is great Spanish film that most people missed. This is probably one of the best time travel movie that is out there.  The movie is very simple yet very clever and suspenseful.  It deals with time travel issue very well.

The movie doesn’t waste any time.  The pace of the movie is great.  It is fast and moves along very well. When you watch the movie, be sure to pay attention to every detail of the movie from the beginning.

The movie started out as some type of slasher, but as the story evolves, it’s some thing completely different.

As the main character, Hector, gets tangled in the web of time travel problems, the story gets bit complicated.  But the movie does good job explaining things and make it simple as possible to understand the complex time travel problems.

Every time-travel movie has holes in the story.  I am sure this movie has its share of holes in the story, but if you try not to nit-pick on all the holes in the story, you’ll really enjoy the movie.

The movie also has big twist ending that you’ll love.

In the Nutshell

Timecrimes is one of the best time travel thriller. I highly recommand. I give 5 out of 5 stars.

  1. You shouldn’t advertise your review as “spoiler free” if you spoil the fact that there is a big twist at the end.
