Green Room Review (2016)

The Review (Spoiler Free)

Green Room isn’t really a horror film. It is more of suspense thriller. But very good one indeed.

The story goes like this. This struggling punk band gets a gig at this shady redneck neo-nazi bar. Something goes wrong and the whole movie is about them trying to survive the night from crazy bar owner played by Patrick Stewart and his gang of neo-Nazi thugs.

I really liked the movie. It has lots of suspense. I was glue to the movie waiting to see what was going to happen at the end. I was rooting for this punk band to fight against these Nazi thugs. Don’t want to give it away but lots of people die, but that’s not really a surprise.

I was pretty satisfied how the end the movie. Not going to tell you who’s going to survive (or die) at the end.  You just have to watch.

Acting and Directing

By the way, Patrick Stewart plays one crazy bad-ass villain. He is top notch actor and quickly you forget that he is Professor Charles Xavier and starts to despite him.  Rest of the actors are very good.  Rest of the casts include Anton Yelchin, Joe Cole, Alia Shawkat, Callum Turner, David W. Thompson, Mark Webber, Macon Blair, Eric Edelstein, Michael Draper,  Andy Copeland, Brent Werzner, Lj Klink, Kasey Brown, Taylor Tunes, and Imogen Poots.

The movie is written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier.

In the Nutshell

I give 5 out of 5 stars (Highly recommend)
